Muhammad peace be upon him .. human slave

Muhammad peace be upon him .. human slave
Of the most interesting aspects strongly in the character of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him that he was a human being thin slender sense , and I knew about this tenderness over the course of his life , practiced spontaneously confirm that they are an integral part in the constituent psychological , and it is not caused by fabricating or cost .
Will not understand the beauty of tenderness in the character of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him , but if we realized that this trait was calculated negatively on the personal Arabic in Arab society before Islam , which was not a society truly in accordance with the standards of the community , it is the tribes scattered isolated from the outside world , which does not
alleyway only by commercial flights , seasonal , or individual scientific trips are rare, and the law does not have a fixed uniform , but laced philosophy of power and the culture of violence .
It is natural in such an environment that becomes a humanitarian role of men and women, the poor and marginalized is an actor ; citizenship because of merit based on the combat power necessary to protect the home, business or guard convoys , or hit- and-run , and travel continued behind water and pasture.

Has raised paper Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him some of his contemporaries from the Arabs , as happened with the bald bin Habis , a man of the people , we find when he entered it and saw accept his grandson Hassan bin Ali , marveled that and told him that his ten children before the one of them , it comes
suspension of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him to say cold this tenderness to the mercy of God , and his face to be merciful , and that God's mercy to people subject to the mercy of themselves , and stalk these human wisdom among eloquent : « of ruthless ruthless » .

It was not compassion , especially granddaughter who just loves him , Vachammail inherent and indivisible , but serene place like a river in its course without historical chagrin , was passed if the boys are playing him them and Daabhm .
Indeed, the magnitude of the responsibilities and the diversity of his concerns did not prevent him from console toddler saw the sad death Asfoura , Valatefh his nickname and asked him : « O Abu Amir , what do nughayr ? » .

And with tenderness with children , reflecting on his battlefield commander victorious has the last word , His attitude of prisoners warriors , which is at the top of the euphoria of the victory over the arch-enemy of Quraish which Azth and cornered him and struggled to kill him and eliminate his call until he emigrated from his native village under duress .
In the first decisive victory by him , it was never appears as a military leader expresses the magnitude of bloodshed , and abuse of the defeated enemy , but expressed spontaneously HH himself , and promoted his humanity .

After having consulted with his companions in the position of the prisoners , he chose to take sides to accept the redemption of them , or pardoned in return that teaches all prisoners , including ten Muslims to read and write , but he initiated the request for an exchange of prisoners with his enemies to restore them going and her daughter signed the share owner Salamah ibn al-Akwa
.
Is known human victorious military leader gently infuses the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him ?

Any military commander who draws this scene a woman in his family eagerly looking for her son , who leaves her until they found her stomach and Volzkth breastfed , and to draw the attention of his companions , and took the mercy of her son a lesson to them educationally ?

In victory, the biggest , when he entered Mecca opening victorious after Broke enemies of Quraysh and surrendered his income modest , bowed head, without brackets Nasr , without retaliation or bloodshed , and issued a pardon comprehensive report on his enemies surrendered simply and unconditionally .. « not Tthreyb you go
you are free » .

After the opening of the Khyber over the owner Bilal bin Rabah two women prisoners of the fort on their dead , cried one and urged her head dirt, was angry the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him and said to him : « Onzaat you mercy , O Bilal , while undergoing two women on the toll their men ? » .
And the commandments of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him stems from humanitarian advancement in war as in peace alike.
Is known to date a military commander leads his armies victorious always this human spirit -Semitism ?
The war in the religion of Mohammed is not targeted killings , and , seeking to impose the will on the other , but they pay a human to remove tyrants who transfer between the people and their right to free choice of the values of their lives , and the pattern of their behavior ; This came orders to his armies explicit in the text on the sanctity of exposure to non-combat : « Invade the name of God , for God's sake , from Kafr God , not Ngdroa , not boil , and do not kill a baby nor a woman, nor a great Vania , not an isolated silo , nor cut themselves, nor Nkhala tree , nor Tahedmoa building » .
A ruling which followers believe that obedience obedience to God , and his violation had to torment and bring the wrath of God , and in spite of this he gets going and thou shalt take his hand does not refrain them even spends her need , and help her to her that Oadzha , and flirts with the old woman , and playing with young children , and holds his grandsons over the back and walks them on all fours, and lived up to the crying child Farahm heart and marry his mother in his prayers , and not raise his head from prostration until his grandson , who descends Aatlah .
When the conquest of Mecca he gets his neighbor Abu Bakr his father , who was still on the company in anticipation of his conversion to Islam , and his father was too old , are seen the Prophet peace be upon him to say : « Can you leave the Sheikh in his house, so I can be I will come to it? » .

And that Muhammad is the Prophet peace be upon him did not enjoy the splendor of power , and did not invest love Muslims sweeping him for possession of the pleasures of sensuality , was A_khasv his shoe in his hand , and patched his clothes with his hand , and milking sheep in itself , and is assisted by his family in their profession , and serve himself.

The man enters upon Vihabh and shiver Frais , Fahdi of magnificence and inhabited , and says to him: « You Hun , I 'm not a king , but I'm a woman eat jerky » .

It is the breeder great that carries the burden of the transition to man from the desert of ignorance into an oasis of faith , comes the realization of the rights of vulnerable groups in the community to express a true expression of his greatness humanity that did not shine in his old Arab , but still glowing in the sky of humanity to this day .

He collapse, one of his friends because he insults a black man and Aarh Psoad mother and attributed done to racial ignorance, and raises understanding of the upscale nature of the relationship between social classes differentiated , and emphasizes the necessity of charity to vulnerable social groups physically Kalkhaddm and workers , expressed their word brothers , and that God gave them to be under
their hands , and issued guidance humanitarian upscale : « it was under his brother Vlaitamh than eat , wear and worn , nor what Tklvohm overcome them , the Kfattmohm Voaanohm » .

Not only paper Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him on humans , but overtaken by the animals Ajme that are unable to express their pain and their needs , he exhorts his followers to the Humane Society , Afiks them the story of the man who the womb of a dog thirsty Vsagah , God forgave him to do so and insert it into paradise .
And scare them from harming the animal and damaging it, and disgraceful act that connects the fire of hell , Verwey them the news of a woman who entered the fire; because they are not locked kitten she fed , nor are they left to search for food.

Download and forbade animals overloaded , and ordered Brahmtha and treat her kindly .

Not only paper Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him and mercy to animals in his life , but came his commandments to accurately reflect the originality in himself , he is finished his companions for the slaughter of their animals in front of the herd , the mother does not slaughtered in front of her daughter , and the girl does not slaughtered in front of her mother , and ordered them to improve
to their sacrifices at slaughter and do not become stiff , Vespbwa her punishment or painful , and tell them that this is of God: «God wrote the charity on everything , if kill well , and if Zbhtm Vohassanoa slaughter , but one of you sharpen blade Fleurh sacrifice » .

The Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him was a man in his own genius by all accounts , it has many of the married women in the age group varies , Vmnhen by an older girl Kkhaddajh and Soda Zama , and small Kaaaúhh .

And cultural and religious background , Vmnhen originated from Jewish Ksfih and Fatima , and grew up Christian Kmaria , and the majority of them have grown up in the Arab environment entangling .

They also Tfauten in the level of social and aesthetic , was the most prominent common denominator that they all Jmahen Ahbpinh loving .

The Arab community , which Toad the girls to avoid Oukuahen in outrageous , or Sagothen in captivity Faisbhan Maids Mstrqh .

In this environment , we find Muhammad, peace be upon him a prophet and leader, expresses his love for Aisha among his companions, unabashed , when asked by one of his companions: any people I love thee ? He said: « Aisha » . He said: men ?
He said: « father » .

Latif and he did not say : Abu Bakr , but the percentage of them.

And went to the same night , saying: « ask permission from you to Okhalo Barbie » .
She said: 'O Messenger of God , and God, I love the closeness and Kawthar breeze .

And history is almost brings the inherent violence or cruelty charismatic kings and rulers and military leaders , but the personality of Muhammad was unique facets miracle .

The Quran reveals a party of the special relationship between him and his wives when pushed jealousy some of them to the conspiracy it , Ivaguen that Ikhbernh that smell his mouth honey , to distinguish one of his wives they provide honey to it , what was it , but he was denied the same honey who loves to drink it just to not be surprised to smell some of his wives , not angry , not punished , not seen in Mcolthen insult him .
But in the event that the meditator feels that he acted with them as the prohibition of drinking honey on the same right to his wives , who must be keen to feelings , even prohibiting the wife that God has his ankle .

The Quran declares reproach for God to His Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him ; campus because it is the same God his ankle , and the circumstances of the incident poses to recognize people on the side of privacy accurate .
Did not prove to be violence or beaten anyone of his wives throughout his life , but he was on the other extreme , was improves Maacherthen , and courted them , and Idaabhen , and allows them to attend the crowds on holidays and watch sports folk, and even enter them in the sprint .

This was fifteen years ago , in the desert Arabs poor ignorance, and contemporary societies are still to this day bustles complaint of violence against women , and Taatnadi institutions of civil society and human rights organizations for Catering measures necessary to protect them from violence , come irony as embarked upon by the municipal councils in Britain prepared by what Astalhawwa to be called " rooms of terror ," a private houses to protect women from partners who are violent , and this project, which involves creating rooms with techniques of high security for women who are victims of domestic violence , was adopted by 120 local authorities in England
and 165 other plans in this direction .

The wives of the Prophet Mohammed certificate peace be upon him Brgueth them , stamped to modern man even though he carries his or her own physical attributes of ignorance . Says Wife Aisha : (What's striking Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him anything at hand , nor a woman, nor a servant , but struggling for the sake of God , and Neil him something never retaliate from the owner , but that violates everything from tissues of God Almighty retaliate
God Almighty ) .

The author recommends that the faithful Abu Bakr imitate the behavior of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him with his wives , he says to them: ( Ariqbwa Muhammad, peace be upon him in his household ) .

The man can avoided Bmadarah disadvantages, and beautification of fabricating Hassan behaviors in front of people , but it can not wear a fake mask throughout the day and night , and with the facilities servant who carried the strictest privacy .

This certificate is the boy Anas bin Malik server Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him from the truest function documentation on paper psychological Prophet and the nobility of his character ; says Anas may Allah be pleased with him : ( what touched Dibaja not Harira Allen from the palm of the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him nor smell never
Best of the smell of the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him , and I served the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him ten years , what he told me never : F , and said something I did : not done ? nor for something I did not do : Do not do such and such ?) .

An examination of the details of the life of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him Sabehrh it came completely free of violence .

The lives of oppression and injustice suffered by the unnamed aggressiveness , and did not flare inside cruelty and unquenchable desire for revenge and retaliation , and his character has been an example of the very beautiful human being normal .

Azth Quraysh and announced by the war , it was announced Tsalmh since his call to the public , and speak out his idea contrary to the fundamentals of their community.

It is interesting to look at the reaction towards this insistence on the harm and infanticide call , although their practices satanic , which affected himself and his family and his companions and his body , was the most response by them when he was going through them one day to roam around the Kaaba as they sit taunt him with every cycle Hmza and Mazza , stood
Kabbalthm and said to them : « Otzmon O Quraish , while and my hand , have I come to slaughter » . , what was of them , however, have to Istradwnh and admit him to His creation and his dream and said to him : ( Begone , O Abu al-Qasim , Fu God what you Foolish ) .

And he suffered from harming hypocrites affiliates grade Muslim , was offset by saying the good , the beautiful and forgiveness , and charity treatment .

This is one of them come to him to take away from charity and screaming which severely with it is in the midst of his companions , saying: ( O Messenger of Allah , fairest ) will prevent him hurting his companions, who rose to quasi- Messenger of Allah , and responds to say thick rough , saying: « Wilk , of amends if not the fairest ? !
» .

The last object to dividing and dividing them yell it on the ears of his companions: ( Fear God , O Muhammad ) , refuses to be a bad touch him , and speaks to him Brgueth usual tone and teacher Rahim : « obeys God if disobey ? ! Oaomanana God to the people of the earth do not Tamnonna ? ! » .
And it comes down to a Bedouin appointed by the friendly people Viattiyh then asks him : « Well done to you? » Bedouin said : No, not outlined . Was angry with some Muslims and they were about to do to him , he pointed the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him to them that no longer , and when the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and reached into his house called the Bedouin to the house , he said: « You but Jitna ask us Voattiynak I said what I said, » , Vzadeh Messenger of Allah peace be upon him something and he said: « Well done to you? » Bedouin said : Yes , Vdzak God of the people of the clan good ..

The Prophet, peace be upon him : « You Jitna Vsaltna Voattiynak I said what I said , and in the souls of my friends so you something , if you come into their own hands , then say what I said between my hands ; even goes for chests » . He said: Yes .
When he came A'raabi The Messenger of Allah peace be upon him : «The companion was came We asked Voattiynah said what he said , I might Donah Voattiynah including claims that he may be pleased , as well as O Bedouin ? » Said the Bedouin : Yes , Vdzak God of the people of the clan good.

And abuse spontaneous that has become of his companions, such as raising their voices above the voice , and Mnadathm it in a way rude , and sit in Hgrath In the presence of his wives for long periods , not faced by military order , or decision of an authoritarian , but was Trja to draw their him , and the blush of confronting them , including hurt of them , remained
patiently until Allah Almighty Gabriel ; to teach his companions including them hurt him , and declares himself to hide in embarrassment .

The Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him rich personal reflection entice them , he is a human being implemented by all standards , worthy of being at the forefront of humanity.

Is not it right to us as a human being - has reached the Humanities is reached - that it recognize the standards of scientific and of the history?

The figure stand in front of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him , because inevitably force us to wonder about how the emergence of these personal genius in this pre-Islamic society ?

Where learning Muhammad? Where are raised on all these qualities Semitism ?
Once absorbed arts of politics and diplomacy and leadership of armies , a dealer just a simple mom ?

Which is no doubt that the human mind stands impressed by the presence of character such as Muhammad peace be upon him in pre-Islamic Arabic environment .

Tell history for Arabs Avmaz before Muhammad peace be upon him , but it was each and every one of them distinguish the aspect of his personality , Some poets and wise, and generous leaders Hrbion , but in the case of Mohammed met aspects of human greatness in one's personality .

The genius of Muhammad peace be upon him did not stem from a personal humanitarian abstract , but rather stemmed and monopolized of being human beings is revealed to him from God's chosen and he praised , and his knowledge and raised him , and sent him a mercy to the worlds as he says: { We sent thee mercy to the worlds } [ Prophets : 107 ]
.

We can deal with this Andhashna given in the description of him by God " Merciful " .

Do you know this Man?

Muhammed (peace be upon him) – a brief description

You may be a christian protestant, catholic, jew, an atheist or an agnostic; or you may belong to any of many different religious denominations existing in today's world. You might even be a communist or believe in man's democracy as the rule on earth.

Whoever you are and whatever ideological or political beliefs, social habits you may hold, there is no doubt - You must know this Man - Muhammad (peace be upon him).

He was by far the most remarkable man that ever set foot on this Earth. He preached a religion, founded a state, built a nation, laid down a moral code, initiated numerous social and political reforms, established a powerful and dynamic society to practice and represent his teachings and completely revolutionized the worlds of human thought and behavior for all times to come.

"His Name is Muhammad" (peace be upon him).

He was born in Arabia in the year 570 c.e. (common era), started his mission of preaching the religion of truth, Islam (submission to one God at the age of forty and departed from this world at the age of sixty-three.

During this short period of 23 years of his Prophethood, he changed the complete Arabian peninsula from paganism and idolatry to worship of one God, from tribal quarrels and wars to national solidarity and cohesion, from drunkenness and debauchery to sobriety and piety, from lawlessness and anarchy to disciplined living, from utter bankruptcy to the highest standards of moral excellence. Human history has never known such a complete transformation of a people or a place before or since - and imagine all these unbelievable wonders in just over two decades.

The world has had its share of great personalities. But these were one sided figures who distinguished themselves in but one or two field, such as religious thought or military leadership. The lives and teachings of these great personalities of the world are shrouded in the mist of time. There is so much speculation about the time and place their birth, the mode and style of their life, the nature and detail of their teachings and the degree and measure of their success or failure that is impossible for humanity to reconstruct accurately the lives and teachings of these men.

Not so this man. Muhammad (peace be upon him) accomplished so much in such diverse fields of human thought and behavior in the fullest blaze of human history. Every detail of his private life and public utterances has been accurately documented and faithfully preserved to our day. The authenticity of the records so preserved are vouched for not only by the faithful followers but even by his prejudiced critics.

Muhammad (peace be upon him) was a religious teacher, a social reformer, a moral guide, an administrative colossus, a faithful friend, a wonderful companion, a devoted husband, a loving father - all in one. no other man in history ever excelled or equaled him in any of these different aspects of life - but it was only for the selfless personality of Muhammad (peace be upon him) to achieve such incredible perfection.

Muhammad (peace be upon him) was nothing more or less than a human being. But he was a man with a noble mission, which was to unite humanity on the worship of one and only one god and to teach them the way to honest and upright living based on the commands of god. he always described himself as, 'a servant and messenger of god' and so indeed every action of his proclaimed to be.

Today after a lapse of fourteen centuries, the life and teachings of Muhammad (peace be upon him) have survived without the slightest loss, alteration or interpolation. They offer the same undying hope for treating mankind's many ills, which they did when he was alive. This is not a claim of Mohammed's (peace be upon him) followers, but the inescapable conclusion forced upon by a critical and unbiased history.

The least you can do as a thinking and concerned human being is to stop for a moment and ask your self: could these statements sounding so extraordinary and revolutionary really be true? and supposing they really are true and you did not know this man Muhammad (peace be upon him) or hear about him, isn't it time you responded to this tremendous challenge and put in some effort to know him?

It will cost you nothing, but it may prove to be the beginning of a completely new era in your life.

We invite you to make a discovery of this wonderful man, Muhammad (peace be upon him), the like of whom never walked on the face of this earth.

Comparing Jesus & Muhammad - peace be upon them-

"Are you that Prophet" [bible, john 1:20]

That Prophet?

Who was he?

Comparing Jesus & Mmuhammad

"The comforter, the spirit of truth, whom the father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that i said unto you."
[Bible - john 14:26]

Jesus, the son of Mary, said, "a Messenger will come after me, named Ahmad."
[Noble Quran 61:6]

the chief priests and levites asked john the baptist, "if you are not the christ (messiah), and not elijah - are you that prophet?"
[bible - john 1:20]

When the chief priests and levites asked john the baptist who he was, they asked him in a very strange way. First they questioned him as to whether or not he was the anticipated "Messiah" [christ in koine greek]. he was not the "Messiah" that had hoped for. next they asked if he was the Prophet Elijah and again he tells them, "no." now comes the really strange part. finally, they asked him if he is "that prophet?"

 Are you christ? - [no]
 Are you Elijah? - [no]
Are you that Prophet? - [no]

What did they mean by "that Prophet?" we of course, know who the "Christ" is. After all, christians should know that "Christ" is merely a shortened form of the koine greek word "christos," intended to mean the hebrew word "Messiah."

The Jews of two thousand years ago were definitely looking for the Messiah, who it was foretold in their books, would come and lead them to victory over their oppressors and thus gain for them mastery over this world. They were much oppressed under roman domination and even their own jewish kings were seen as nothing more than puppets or agents for the disbelievers. certainly, they would have been most happy to see someone come on the scene who would defeat their roman masters and slave drivers.

Then the priests and levites asked john the baptist if he might be the prophet elijah, returning back after hundreds of years being away. There was the notion amongst them that elijah would come back. but again, john the baptist is denying he is elijah.

Then, who is he? they wonder at this man living out in the desert and forsaking wealth and luxury and fasting, avoiding the material attractions of life.

Again, they ask john the baptist who he is. "are you that Prophet?" and one more time he denies being "that Prophet," but then he does tell them about someone who will come after him soon, whom he claims he is not worthy to even unlace his shoes.

However, this does not answer the question, "who were they expecting besides the Messiah?" could it be they were looking for someone like Muhammad? (could be)

Who is that Prophet?

Keep reading and learn who "that Prophet" is and what other proofs can be discovered within the holy texts to support this idea.

For centuries Muslims have believed Jesus (peace be upon him) was "that Prophet" mentioned in these words of the gospel of john. The Quran states one of the important features of Jesus' mission was to give the "bashir" or 'glad tidings' of the coming of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. During his short missionary career that lasted not more than three years, and which was overshadowed by the hostile attitude of his own people, Jesus gave them the good news of Ahmad, (one of the forms of "Muhammad") the last Messenger of God, who would perfect the divine teaching both in theory and in practice. The Quran mentions that, jesus says:

"O children of israel! I am the Messenger of Allah {almighty god} (sent) to you, confirming the law (torah or old testament) before me, and giving glad tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad."

[Noble Quran 61:6]

The Quran gives the name as Ahmad, one of several ways to say Muhammad's name. Just as we have in english the name joseph, and often use a shorter form such as "joe" or the familiar form, "joey," and other names like "jonathan" which becomes "john"; "jack" or "johnny", so in the same way we find arabic has similar forms for a name. Muhammad, Ahmad and Hamad are a few of the names originating from the root word, "Hamd" (meaning 'praise) in Arabic, and can be understood as "the one who praises (God)"; "the praised one"; "praising"; etc.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali in his translation of the meanings of the Quran to English, he states, "Ahmad or Muhammad, the praised one is a translation of the koine greek word periclytos. In the present gospel of john 14:16, 15:26 and 16:7, the greek word paracletos is translated in the niv as comforter. paracletos can mean an advocate, or "one called to the help of another", "a kind friend." Muhammad (peace be upon him) was known from birth as one who brought comfort and reconciliation to family, friends and strangers alike, especially in bringing together the ties of kinship and brotherly love.

Another nick name of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) mentioned in the bible (or at least what is left of it in the English language) is "the spirit of truth." As-Sddiq means exactly that and it is was another name given to Muhammad (peace be upon him) by those who knew his proclivity for honesty and integrity.

The new testament gospel according to john, jesus (peace be upon him) promises them the paracletos will come four times (john 14:16; 14:26; 15:26; 16:7). naturally, jesus (peace be upon him) did not return in their lifetime nor did any other Prophet for that matter, so later thinkers came up with the notion that it was not jesus "in person" but rather, jesus coming back in "spirit form." This led some Christians to assert, this was to be the holy spirit, who would descend upon the disciples on the day of the pentecost (acts 2), to witness christ and lead them into the whole truth and to be with the believers forever, and they would not die (john 3:16), but have everlasting life. also, some added verses later (see footnotes to revised standard version of the bible) to the very last chapter of mark (16), wherein, they have the spirit coming upon them in such a way they imagined themselves going to be able to speak with new languages; pick up snakes, lay hands on the sick to cure them and even drink poison and nothing would hurt them. [Luke 23:17-18]

Another point is, the paracletos, comforter or the spirit of truth, was going to dwell with us from now on. Certainly anyone could see Muhammad's influence and his Message of worshipping only one God without any partners has prevailed long after his earthly life.

A new Muslimah has married a Muslim man without her family’s knowledge

A new Muslimah has married a Muslim man without her family’s knowledge

I am a Chinese girl married to a Lebanese Muslim man. The main reason for this is that I have become Muslim… we got married in the Islamic manner, but this marriage was done without the knowledge of our families, because of some difficult circumstances.
Do you think that this is haraam? I mean, is it against the Qur’aan?.

Praise be to Allaah.   The evidence from the Qur’aan and Sunnah indicates that a woman should not get married without a wali (guardian) to look after her and protect her interests, lest she be deceived by the devils among men. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Wed them with the permission of their own folk (guardians, Awliyaa’ or masters)”
[al-Nisa’ 4:25]
It was narrated from Abu Moosa al-Ash’ari that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “There is no (valid) marriage without a wali (guardian).” Narrated by the five and classed as saheeh by Ibn al-Madeeni.
Al-Tirmidhi said: This is the correct view concerning this issue, based on the hadeeth of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), “There is no marriage without a wali (guardian),” according to the scholars among the companions of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), such as ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab, ‘Ali ibn Abi Taalib, ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Abbaas, Abu Hurayrah and others.
If one of your close male relatives is a Muslim, such as your father, brother, uncle or cousin, then he is your wali with regard to marriage, and your marriage is not valid without his permission and consent. He should do the marriage contract for you himself or appoint someone to do it on his behalf.
If all your close male relatives are non-Muslims, then a kaafir cannot be the wali (guardian) of a Muslim.
Ibn Qudaamah said: With regard to a kaafir, he cannot be the wali of a Muslim in any situation, according to scholarly consensus.
Ibn al-Mundhir said: Those from whom we acquired knowledge are unanimously agreed on that.
Imam Ahmad said: We have heard that ‘Ali allowed a marriage done by a brother, but he rejected a marriage done by a father who was a Christian. Al-Mughni, 7/356.
And a Muslim cannot be a guardian for the marriage of his kaafir children’s marriage. Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah was asked about a man who had become Muslim; could he still be a wali for his children who were people of the Book?
He replied: He cannot be their guardian with regard to marriage, or with regard to inheritance. A Muslim cannot do the marriage contract for a kaafir woman, whether she is his daughter or anyone else. And a kaafir cannot inherit from a Muslim or a Muslim from a kaafir. This is the view of the four imams and their companions among the earlier and later generations. Allaah has severed the ties of guardianship between believers and disbelievers in His Book, and has decreed that they should have nothing to do with one another, and that the ties of wilaayah (guardianship) exist among the believers. (32/35) But a Muslim woman should tell her family about that and seek their approval, so that this will help to open their hearts to Islam.
The question here is: what should a Muslim woman who does not have a Muslim wali do?
The answer is:
A Muslim who is in a position of authority or status should do the marriage contract for her, such as the head of an Islamic centre, the imam of a mosque, or a scholar. If she cannot find anyone like this, then she should appoint a Muslim man of good character to do the marriage contract for her.
Shaykh al-Islam said: In the case of a woman who does not have a wali among her relatives, if there is in her locality a representative of the ruler or the chief of the village, or a leader who is obeyed, then he can do the marriage contract for her with her permission. (32/35).
Ibn Qudaamah said:
If a woman does not have a wali or a ruler, then there is a report narrated from Ahmad which indicates that a man of good character may do the marriage contract for her with her permission. (7/352).
Al-Juwayni said: If she does not have a wali present, and there is no (Muslim) ruler, then we know definitively that closing the door of marriage is impossible in sharee’ah, and whoever has any doubt about that does not have a proper understanding of sharee’ah. To suggest that the door of marriage may be closed is as bad as suggesting that people may be prevented from earning a living. Al-Ghayaathi 388. Then he stated that the ones who should do that (do marriage contracts for women who have no wali) are the scholars.
Conclusion:
If the marriage contract was done in this manner, and the imam of an Islamic Centre in your country or a Muslim man of good character did the marriage, then your marriage is valid. But if you did the marriage yourself (with no wali) then you have to go with your husband to the nearest Islamic centre and repeat the nikaah (marriage contract), and let the head of the centre, for example, be your wali in marriage.
With regard to your husband, he does not have to tell his family, because there is no stipulation that the husband should have a wali.
And Allaah knows best.

Is Ibraaheem’s building of the Ka‘bah mentioned in the Bible ?

Is Ibraaheem’s building of the Ka‘bah mentioned in the Bible ?

We Muslims do not believe that there is any contradiction between the Holy Qur’an and the original Torah and Gospel, because we believe that they are all divinely revealed books that were sent down from Allah, may He be glorified. Thus they came from the same source, and as that is the case there cannot be any contradiction or conflict between them, as Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Do they not then consider the Quran carefully? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much contradictions” [an-Nisa’ 4:82]

Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, describes the Holy Qur’an as “confirming” the Books that came before it, and that which confirms something cannot contradict or conflict with it. Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“It is He Who has sent down the Book (the Quran) to you (Muhammad SAW) with truth, confirming what came before it. And he sent down the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel).

Aforetime, as a guidance to mankind, And He sent down the criterion (of judgement between right and wrong (this Quran)).” [Aal ‘Imraan 3:3-4]

“And We have sent down to you (O Muhammad SAW) the Book (this Quran) in truth, confirming the Scripture that came before it and Mohayminan (trustworthy in highness and a witness) over it (old Scriptures)” [al-Maa’idah 5:48]

As for what we see nowadays of contradictions in the copies of the Torah and Gospel that are extant today, the reason for that is clear and obvious. It is because these two Books have fallen prey to distortion and alteration, with things being taken away, added and changed. That is in addition to the fact that the sources and manuscripts that have come down to us today cannot be trusted. This is what explains any differences that researchers or students find between these two Books and the Holy Qur’an which has been transmitted to us in a mutawaatir fashion (i.e., narrated by so many from so many that it is inconceivable that they could all have agreed upon a lie), as is attested by both believers and nonbelievers.

Nevertheless we say that Ibraaheem’s arrival in the land of Makkah al-Mukarramah – and indeed his building of the Sacred House – are historical events that are attested to in the Torah and other ancient historical books. We cannot deny the fact that there are different interpretations of these texts of the Torah and so on, and that the context is open to different interpretations. Our aim here here is to confirm that such indications exist. However, the matter should be left to scholars to examine the story in the Old Testament, in order to reach a definitive conclusion.

These references include the following:

1. In the book of Genesis 16:7 it says, after mentioning the story of Ibraaheem (Abraham) going in unto Haajar (Hagar) and her becoming pregnant, then Sarai’s [Sarah’s] complaint to Ibraaheem about her:

[Biblical quotations in English are taken from the King James Version (KJV); some place names have been changed, followed by the place name, in brackets, that is mentioned in the KJV. This is done in line with the point the author is making – see below]

And when Sarai [Sarah] dealt hardly [harshly] with her, she fled from her face.

And the angel of the Lord found her by a fountain [spring] of water in the wilderness, by the fountain [spring] in the way to the Hijaz (Shur).

And he said, Hagar, Sarai's maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai.

13 And she called the name of the Lord that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me?

14 Wherefore the well was called Be’er lahai roi (Well of the Living One Who sees me); behold, it is between Kadesh and Bered.

See how the name of the Hijaz is mentioned, and Hajar’s departure to that place, after which the blessing of the “Well of the Living One Who sees me” is bestowed by Allah, may He be glorified and exalted; this is the Well of Zamzam.

2. In Genesis 13:1-18 it says:  And Abram went up out of Egypt, he, and his wife, and all that he had, and Lot with him, towards the qiblah (into the south).

And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.

And he went on his journeys from the south even to Bethel, unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Hai;

Unto the place of the altar, which he had made there at the first: and there Abram called on the name of the Lord.

18 Then Abram removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and built there an altar unto the Lord.

In Genesis 20:1 it also says:  And Abraham journeyed from thence towards the land of the qiblah (the south country), and dwelled between Kadesh and Shur, and sojourned in Gerar.
We have quoted these texts [in the original Arabic of this article] from the Torah as translated into Arabic by Sa‘eed al-Fayyoomi, (d. 943 AH); the King James Version of the Bible has been used here]. He was the first one to translate the Old Testament into Arabic. He also wrote a commentary for most of its books. We have not found this Torah anywhere else except in the book of Idrees ‘Abayzah entitled Madhkal ila Diraasat at-Tawraat wa Naqdiha ma‘a Tarjumatihi al-‘Arabiyyah li Sa‘diyyaa Ka’oon al-Fayyoomi (Introduction to the Study and Critique of the Torah, accompanied by its Translation into Arabic by Sa‘diyyaa Ka’oon al-Fayyoomi).

In other well-known translations of the Torah [into Arabic], instead of the Hijaz it mentions “by a fountain [spring] of water in the wilderness, by the fountain [spring] in the way to Shur” (Genesis 16:7), and instead of the qiblah it mentions “the south” (Genesis 13:1).
[Translator’s note: some English translations say “Negev” instead of “the south’; in the Bible, this word is used for the direction “south”]

For more information please see (in Arabic): Nabi Ard al-Janoob (Prophet of the Southern Land) by Jamaal ad-Deen ash-Sharqaawi (p. 18-109)

3. In Genesis 21:21 it says of Ismaa‘eel (peace be upon him):

21 And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran: and his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt.

This is how it appears in the Samaritan Torah (also known as the Samaritan Pentateuch), and in al-Fayyoomi’s translation of the Torah.

Although many passages in the Torah suggest that Paran is in Palestine, Imam al-Qarraafi said in his book al-Ajwibah al-Faakhirah (p. 165): Paran is Makkah, according to the consensus of the People of the Book. Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said in al-Jawaab as-Saheeh liman baddala Deen al-Maseeh (5/200):

There is no difference of opinion between the Muslims and the People of the Book concerning the fact that Paran is Makkah. But if they say that it is not Makkah, there is nothing strange in that, because they are known for their distortions and fabrications.

He (may Allah have mercy on him) also said concerning the region around Mount Hira’ in Makkah:

That place is called Faaraan (Paran) to this day. End quote.

‘Abd al-Haqq Vidyarthi (d. 1978 CE) stated in his famous book Muhammad in World Scriptures:

In the Arabic translation of the Samaritan Pentateuch (Torah), which was published in 1851 CE, it says that Paran is located in the Hijaz, as follows:

“And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran: and his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt” (Genesis 21:21).

This translation remained in circulation for a long time, but when the Muslims alerted the Christian world to this prophecy, and that it constituted testimony to the truth of this Noble Prophet, the translation was changed. End quote

4. In the Old Testament, in Psalms 84:5-6, 10, there is mention of the valley of Baca. This passage, in the King James Version (KJV), reads as follows:

Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.
Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.

10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand (elsewhere).

There is no valley on earth called Baca (or Bakkah) that contains a house of worship and a spring of water (Zamzam), in which one prayer is better than a thousand prayers offered anywhere else, other than Makkah al-Mukarramah.

Baca (Bakkah) is one of the names of Makkah. This name is mentioned in the Holy Qur’an, where Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning)”

“Verily, the first House (of worship) appointed for mankind was that at Bakkah (Makkah), full of blessing, and a guidance for Al-Alameen (the mankind and jinns)” [Aal ‘Imraan 3:96].

But the translators and commentators of the Old Testament distorted the word Baca to buka’ [weeping or crying; the Hebrew cognate denotes the same meaning], even though the meanings of place names should not be translated; rather the name should be transliterated, and even though the meaning of the (original) name has nothing to do with crying or weeping, as a result of their desire to eliminate all references to anything that is proven in the Holy Qur’an, such distortions occurred.

In conclusion, we say:

Even if nothing was mentioned in the Old Testament concerning Ibraaheem’s journey to the Hijaz, that does not indicate that this journey did not happen at all. The well known academic principle says that the fact that a thing is not mentioned does not mean that it did not happen. In other words, denying that something happened should take the form of a negative statement. The fact that no mention is made of its happening does not necessarily mean that it did not happen; rather the reason why it was not mentioned may be that it was omitted, forgotten, summarized in brief, and the like. If you find news of something in one newspaper, then you find that it is not mentioned at all in another newspaper, the fact that it is not mentioned in the latter does not mean that it did not happen. Whoever thinks in such terms is lacking in reason and is making no sense. This is also applicable in the case under discussion here.

Furthermore, if we were to quote the words of non-Muslims who have investigated the story of the Ka‘bah and who really built it, and have determined that Ibraaheem (peace be upon him) is the one who built it, this article would become far too long. But we will limit ourselves to quoting one of the most famous of contemporary history books, The Story of Civilization, by Will Durant. This book is composed of forty-two volumes in which the author discusses the history of most civilizations, including the history of the Arabian Peninsula, concerning which he says: “It (the Ka‘bah) was built the fourth time by Abraham and Ishmael, his son from Hagar.
